Fort Morgan contained powder magazines in two of its five bastions. The arched doorway leads to one of them. The small windows provided air circulation to keep the powder dry.

I used a fisheye lens to take advantage of the inherent symmetry of the stairs on each side of the magazine door. Even when not exagerated by the fisheye effect, the stairs are steeper than typical, with each riser higher than the length of each tread.
