Full moon over Manor Kill Valley

Full moon over Manor Kill Valley

We were out driving in search of Manor Kill Falls in the Catskills and basically went right on past them out Potter Mountain Road. With the sun fading fast, we drove back to a wide spot in the valley surrounding Manor Kill. After shooting a number of photos perpendicular to the sun, I turned to my left and was surprised to see that the moon had risen. The moon looks full in the photo, but in fact it was still waxing and would be a supermoon two days later.
